If one of my cats has a tape worm Do all of my other cats have one too?
I took my kitten to the vet to get his shots. Then told my that he had a tape worm and needed to be dewormed. I have 2 other full grown cats. Do I need to worry that they could possibly have a tape worm? I've never seen any worms in any of their poo.
If any of the cats have fleas there is always a possibility they may have a tape worm. Usually you will see the segments of the tapeworm in the cats' bedding so keep an eye out for that.
And be sure to treat all of them for fleas as they can always be reinfected if there are fleas around.
