The Lancer's suspension has been improved drastically over many generations, and over literally thousands of miles, competing in World Rally Championships. The result of years of studying is world-class handling that doesn't come at the expense of comfort. McPherson struts in front and an independent multi-link system in the rear help keep Lancer glued to the road, while a flat front subframe, that does away with flex-inducing bends, also gives the suspension the ability to do its job; helping to keep bumps and potholes out of the passenger compartment.
