Archery Help! (Pic Included) Easy 10 points for all the archers out there!?
Ok how do you tighten loosen a Hoyt (Vulcan & Vectrix models)
Do you tighten the screw in the middle or the two smaller ones on the sides or both?
The below link is of a vectrix limb so you get the idea of what I mean
@ Daddy was a redneck too..
I wasn't asking your opinion on compund bows versus other bows.
And yes sorry, I ment the draw weight
I can help you with this one. I hunted with the Hoyt the last 2 years. The screws on the side must be loosened before the top screw is moved. The top screw will adjust the draw weight of the bow. You tighten it up to increase the draw weight and loosen it to decrease the draw weight. But remember, the limb bolts have to be moved by the same amount on both limbs. You do it with an allen wrench. After adjusting the draw weight don't forget to tighten the 2 side screws on both limbs because this is what prevents the limb adjustment bolt on top of the limbs from backing out.
